Combat damage happens together

Open the combat log and read Virtual Kid's 1 BF damage to Dust Devil and Dust Devil's 2 MF damage to Virtual Kid. Inspect the opponent's recycle bin, then press Continue.

Why this matters

Dust Devil dealt 2 damage to Virtual Kid while Virtual Kid dealt 1 BF damage to Dust Devil. Virtual Kid was destroyed; Dust Devil survived. The blocked attack dealt no player-health damage. Combat damage is simultaneous. With no damage split to choose, damage and Reset resolved automatically; the log preserves the damage before cleanup.
