Both programs resolved in order

Inspect both MF 18 / BF 20 totals and the damage log, then press Continue to a separate combat scene.

Why this matters

The damage log shows your Overload happening first and the opponent’s Overload second. Both players paid their costs, and both scripts are now in their owners’ recycle bins. You do not get another ordinary chance to respond between these two actions taking effect.
