Initialize has four smaller steps

Read these four steps in order, then press Continue to begin your turn. The simulator handles System Check and Refresh automatically.

Why this matters

System Check checks that your characters have enough RAM attached. Refresh turns your cards upright and restores used abilities. Draw / Install gives you two choices, each to draw one card or install one RAM. Force Quit lets you remove cards you control to recover attached RAM. The game's very first turn has only one Draw / Install choice; this prepared turn is later in the game.
